Wednesday - Lastg full day of architecture, wooohoo. Diana was sick though, so Shankar took us to Middlebury where we made our final projects. We got coffee on the way here. After lunch, we went to the national library, which was pretty cool. Really random and futuristic and pretty cool. It started raining, it was funny. We saw the scene of a dead guy, someone was hit by a acar and killed 10 minutes before we got there, it was really wierd, we could see the tracing and the blooddy sheets. IT was wierd. Then Max and Grant and I went to the Marais. Dinner was at sushi. Lilly's friend came, she was really obnoxious. Then came the discotehque. Rather funny place.

Thursday - Last full day of history. boo. We came here late and worked on the final project. our rap is really bad but really funny. The timeline looks alright. We went out for lunch, I had the single greasiest food I've ever seen in my life, which tasted alright. We came back later than we were uspposed to and shankar was funnily panicked. He lectured fast about the revolution and napoleon. We did more with the rap. |Paul, Jamie, Max, and I went down the bastille street. There was a cool vinyl store and a sketchy cheap clothing store. like suits for 40 euros and other such deals, it was wierd. Back home. nothing doing. Dinner was all 56 people at Chez Clement. It was alright. My food was ok but I had to sit with Jordan who I hate, so I was kinda bummed. Our table was funny though. I lost my voice, and now sound retarded. Back at the hotel, supposed to be packingish. Funniest night of the trip last night. Citadines packets, Jamie's birthday, lots of shit.

Monday evening activities were either Comedie Francaise or Follies d'Opera. The comediy was full so I did the latter and it was actually really good. They modernized and humorized a bunch of old operas. The piano player was amazing.

Tuesday - Full day with Shankar. We went to Versailles. Pretty amazing place. It's just disgustingly huge, we got a private tour of some special rooms you can't see without a tour. It was cool. Came back. Don't remember what I did. Don't think it was too great. Night time was jazz or bald soprano. Guess which I did. It was really cool. It was at this like small dungeon-like place. REally really cool place. what was cool was that they didn't sound that much better than Myachi. Myachi has more variety and is only a little less tight. seriously. I think we can play clubs like that. It was really cool.

Friday night, we had a random picnic on the grounds in front of the eiffel tower. It was god except that there wasn't enough food. I had one sandwhich on a not too big piece of bread that consisted of mustarde, 1 piece of turkey, 4 pieces of salami, and one small slab of mozzarella. Whatever. The good part was that we finally got good at hackeysacking with that cotton stuffed mini soccerball thing I have that we could never use before. Then we went and, take a guess, climbed the eiffel tower. It was pretty cool.

Saturday - Had to be on the bus by 7:00 which was pretty unawesome. Long long busride to Normandy, I was sitting on the window in the back, Paul, Dana, Maggie, Max in that order. We were really bored for a long time so i taught them kowie (sp?), bowie, bo and bon teggi (sorry Eugene) and do you wanna buy a duck. It was pretty fun. Maggie got really into it. We went to this Bayeux Tapestry, which is a really long historical account of the battle of Hastings. It's pretty impressive. We went through kinda fast because we were starving of hunger, but whatevs. Lunch was a very good chorizo pizza and then orangina ice. Tihs stuff is amazing. We walked some more, got ice cream and waffles, hackeysacked more, got back on the bus. Drove to a d-day museum, which was a very good museum. Had too much time to kill there. Drove to a D-Day beach. Really amazing. Not what any of us were expecting but still pretty powerful. You can really appreciate how monstrous a struggle taking the hilly beaches was. I recommend it. Then we drove to go the American cementary which was supposed to be one of the most powerful sites, but it was "unex[ectedly closed after 5:00 on saturdays" hooray for good planning. I got the time of the beach and the cementary mixed, so switch those. Then we drove another hour and a half, stopped for food, got anoher good chorizo pizza and a not so good bruschetta. Finally arrived at the chateau kinnor. Or something like that. Really cool place. Huge house, huge property, very cool. We played a big game of manhunt in these two big fields, it was fun, except that the jail wasn't a good place, and the field was wet and full of horse shit (which miraculously I didn't step in) and it was too dark to see anyone, but it was still really fiun. The best part was seeing Zach and Jordan, or mroe hearing it, get totaled by a fence they couldn't see and me taking out little Evan as he tried for a jailbreak. The bedt there was crazy, sank in so much, pretty comfy though.

Sunday - up at 8. Breakfast was hot chocolate in a bowl and two pieces of bagette, which one could either spread amazing strawberry jam on or dip in the hot chocolate. it was very good and homey. Anyways. Discovered I need to learn guitar because it is a joke that I can't play. Got on the bus, rode to a beach, spent the day at the beach. played some frisbee with Bob and made some outstanding catches. Everything I tried worked, it was awesome. Lunch was a brownie, a chocolate croissant, and then a nasty hot dog sandwich thing. Chilled some more, didn't really do anything, ten got on the bus to come back here. O i got assassinated by Ashley, we're playing this big game of assassin, it's fun. Long bus ride back, listened to Jamie's ipod, but he's got shit on there. Came back, had a pizza night thingy at middlebury. I ate alot, then came back here, chilled in the lobby. bed.

Monday - went to the coolest place. L'hotel des Invalides. It's where Napoleon's buried, but that's not the awesome part. It's this amazing war museum that has like every weapon ever used in France over the last 6 centuries at least. Among other things. It also has tons of armors and notes and everything. It's an amazing place. The tomb was pretty cool. There's a fancy fancy altar, that you get to walk under, its pretty neat. Metro to madelene. Sandwichices at this fancy gourment place, but i messed up and got country ham (similar to prosciutto) and butter on a baguette. It wasn't that bad, but there was just too much butter. Hit bob in the forehead with a bottle cap, it was perfect. Began work on our architecture project. It's not very good.

    8:51 pm
My stomach hurts because I just ate a whole thing of pringles. but whatever, they were awesome. Wednesday night, we saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I liked it. Much much better than I expected and than the previews made it look. Not as good ast the first obviously but I don't think its fair to compare it to the first. Very good on its own. I'm sure people like Dylan will give me a lot of shitfor liking it, but I did.

Thursday - Class started late since we got back from the movie so late. We went to middlebury and began working on our timeline/rap final project. Prettty funny. Lucnh was pasta at this italian place and was pretty good. Activity, went with Bob and Biba to play Frisbee at Les Invalides avec Bob's roommate. Cracked my fingernail pretty bad and made it bleed, but it was fun. My frisbee is magical, it went into traffic so many times and never got scathed at all. It was awesome. Came back, slept I think, dinner was a french place, that was really good, just a little rushed. I had duck confit and these amazing potatoes. Then we went and caught a bateau mouche. We went down the Seine to near the eiffel Tower and chilled and watched the amazing amazing fireworks. Every bridge that we went under, and there were quite a few, were completely filled with people waiting for fireworks, and the banks of the seine were jammed, I'd never seen anything like it. It was really cool. I haven't been in Montclair for 4th of July in at least 7 years, so I forgot how awesome good fireworks can be. Unfortuantely, I had food poisoning last night, so I was pretty unhappy/uncomfortable. Oh and I lost my camera. Bummer.

Today - Went to Sacre Couer with Grant, Lily, and Katie. Went to the shittiest metro stop in Paris, climbed a shitload of stairs, saw a really cool impressive story, although Grant and Lily both said it was ugly. Got pretty good paninis for lunch. Apres le dejeuner, nous sommes allé au la basilique St. Denis avec Shankhar. that place was amzing. Easily my favorite thing I've seen here. Its a beautiful beautiful church. And in the back, it has buried every king of france since the 2nd millenium except for three and its really amazing.

    Getting kinda antsy.

    8:02 pm
Tuesday - All day with Shankhar. Started off with Notre Dame. We chilled on a bench nearby and Shankhar gave us the early history of France. Then we got on the long line for security, finally got into the church. It's pretty amazing. There was actually mass going on, which wascool. We walked around, talked about it, sat for a while, went to the treasury, saw the crown of thorns, pretty cool stuff. Left finally, went to the St. Chappelle. Overwheliming. Over 600 square feet of stained glass. It's amazing. Lunch was at a cool looking pizza place, but it was too expensive and not that wonderful. Then we walked to the Latin quarter and the Sorbonne. couldn't get in, talked a little more, then broke. I came back here, chilled in the room, watched the tour de france, which was awesome. Dinner was at pizza pino, which is actually owned by good family friends of ours. I had a very good pizza and sat with Paul, who was in a bad mood, Julie, who's funny, Kristen, who's crazy, and Bibba. It was a fun meal. then we left and went to see Barbier de Seville, theater. It wasn't a bad show except that it was 95 degrees in the theater. People left halfway and it was one of the funnirer things I've ever seen watching Julie flit across the stage after the lights turned on.

Wednesday - All day with Diana. We had class on top of the Tour Eiffel. finally took some pictures of my own. Broke for lunch, follwed Lilly to this chinese food place that was pretty good, saw her old apartment building and a crazy old woman inside, went to St. Chapelle again for our class. Walked home through the Place de Voges. not how you spell it but whatever. Came back, found Paul and Dana, went to a guitar store, came back.

    6:37 pm
I remembered. dinner was cheap but god thai food and then we walked to Notre Dame and got the best ice cream in Paris on the way. Chilled there for a while, pretty cool, didn't go inside. Came back, slept to techno radio, it was awesome.

Sunday - Woke up to techno. Biking tour in the morning. Rode a tandem bike with Dana, pretty funny. she and Grant switched later and we had like a top gun fighter pilot sim that was really funny. The biking tour went down the seine all the way to the eiffel tower. It was really cool. Lunch, Paul, moi, Dana, and Maggie got random indian food from the market, sandwhiches, grapes, and nectarines, sat on the banks of the Seine, as in our feet were dangling over water, and ate our lunch. It was awesome. We spit grape seeds and had spitting contests and stuff. It was cool. Afternoon, signed up to go to Musée d'Orsay, walked all the way there, only find too long a line. Tuiliries, came home. Dinner was cuban down the block, had an awesome paella, made friends with Hannah, whose father produced ferris bueller, among others. Then we went to Tour Eiffel, didn't have time to climb, but saw the lights, ate some food, it was cool.

Monday - everyone went to the Louvre, I went straight for the Italian paintings part, saw my Panini guy, went for lunch at this pizza café. Afternoon, everyone to Middlebury. diana organized our final project thing. I got a good group doing Paris's churches. Came back, chilled here, went to the supermarket, stocked up on food for the room, had a foodfest, went to fast panini dinner before seeing Eros, wierd ass movie, basically soft-core porn, I don't really recommend it to anyone. Had a crèpe, it was awesome. Talked to Lisa and Sarah about the guy gossip, kinda funny.

    6:25 pm
Had to make sure no problems erased that long entry.

Saturday - woke up kinda early. Took the TGV to Paris. For those who don't know, it's one of the fastest trains in the world. It was pretty awesome. Got here, finally got to the Citadines, much nicer this time, got settled in, my room was me max jamie, jamie being the one kid, other than Jordan, that I didn't want to room with. Spent a lot of time here. Walking tour, saw some shit, nothing thrilling. Can't remember where we went afyter dinner, but Jordan's being an ass and kicking me off, so I'll finish later.
    6:07 pm
Its been a while, I hope I don't forget shit, althgouh I probably will. And for the record, this is as much for me to remember this trip as it is for othres to know. anyways.

Tuesday - activity day. We had Shankhar in the morning, where we started researching and working on this timeline final project thing that I'm really against doing, but o well. Lunch, don't remember, sure it was good. Activities, I passed on biking to play ping pong with Diana. There were these two, and then three, austrian guys who were playing when we went out so first we had to play them. we played them in doubles, and lost. The table sucked and Diana hadn't played in years. Then we switched around with lots of different singles games, always America vs. austria, it was fun. The two of them both beat Diana and me, but we both beat the third guy. It was ufn. Then she and I played a little. She showd me some basic pointers and tried fixing my topsin heavy style. It was fun and tiring. Chilled some more, dinner groups, don't remember what they were, think I had good food, I wish I had been doing this everyday, its annoying forgetting things.

Wednesday - Marseilles, if France were the story of Purim, then Marseilles would be Hamen, where every time you hear the name everyone shakes noisemakers and boos. I like that analogy. Seriously, its a drugy town, with some of the highest crime in the world and realy shady and sketchy and dirty and huge and miserable. So of course, my architecture class and realy sick (unhealthy not awesome) teacher Diana go there. we get there, get lost getting to the old port, get drinks, get paninis, go to a history museum that we can't find, sit on a tourist train tour which was actually kinda cool except that we were all passing out, then come back sad and defeated to Aix. But, thankfully, this was gaming night. So after gong with Shankhar and Kristen to Thai food, which was alright, Excel went to the bowling alley. It was awesome. I bowled two games, so much fun, even though I'm terrible. People were dancing, doing Karaoke, talkking to French people, playing pool, drinking Orangina Ice, which is amazing. It was fun. We got back home at 1:00.

Thursday was another major day, I don't really remember what we did with shankhar, I think maybe he lectured a little, o yeah, we went to the library and were split into groups to research different things, I had william the conqueror and Eleanor of Aquitaine. Presented, chilled, all good. Then was the cookoff. Everyone went to the store to buy stuff on 50 euro budget. It was semi disasterous. we were making taco rollups, though I don't know why, that my roommate said he had a recipe for. So we buy sour cream and tons of cream cheese, and go back and start making it. The shit was disgusting. We used so much god damn cream cheese, had to start over because we had used too much sour cream, had to buy more cream cheese. Eventually, we have them, there's dirty dishes and pots all around our room, 14 emptied boxes of cream cheese, one half full sour cream one empty one, the room was a mess and it reeked. The cookoff was surprisingly good though. there was lots of good food and it was fun. We played soccer afterwards and it felt relaly good to play again. I miss soccer.

Friday- last day of classes in aix. Architecture did one of the best classes we've had yet by going to four different churches and talking about their architecture. It was really good. lunch, i finally refound that panin'aix place, had banging paninis, it was awesome. afterwards, Shankhar bought lion in winter, but it was the new one and it was dubbed, but we watched that, it was good even though I didn't understand most of it. Then we left, started the packing and cleaning process, had to hear tons of bitching about how unhappy Jordan and Max were that the rooms were switching. Community meeting and someone was kicked out. Nice girl I was very surprised that she was the one to go, but whatevs. Dinner was pods and we went to Indian, where Zach and I didn't really get food so we ordered more and ended up eating a lot and going way over the budget. It was fun though (and windy) and it was a new square that I hadn't yet seen and I was surprised that I hadn't seen all of Aix and it made me sad to be leaving. that night was miserable. WE had to sweep and mop and pick up tons of shit and do dishes, and yaddayadda. One last night on the patio was fun though. I think we went to bed at 3:30.

    4:51 pm
Alright, gonna try to continue, though i'm starting to forget specific events. Wednesday dinner was, I think indian food, and it wasn't that good. Afterwards we saw this musica cabanah movie. Mad good music, not very good movie. whatever.

Thursday- everyone went to Avignon. We went to the Palais du Papes, or the palace of the popes. Its this awesomely huge building, and we got to walk around and there was like all this history shit, it was pretty cool. I hung out with Liz and Catharine, who are just like, absurdly nice, then met back up with paul, max, james (terrible kid), Lydia, Peyton, Ashley, and Lilly for lunch. Went to way too expensive a restaraunt and I had way too average pasta. Afterwards, we went to the Pont d'Avignon (some of you will remember the song) which was pretty cool. Long ass bus ride back, became friends with Maggie and Dana. Got back kinda late because there was mad traffic. Dinner was at a french place that was just really good. Pate and duck for me, all really good. I think we were with Val.

Friday- everony went to Arles and then some groups went to St. Remy (sp). In Arles, we did minors first, so architecture, along with Shankhar went to the collissuem which was a smaller colliseeum than the roman one but still authentic and old and amazing. Then lunch, another dissappointing meal, this one involving a mayonnaise and sausage sandwhich, and then Shankhar's class went to St. Remy in the afternoon. We looked at these ruins from what was supposed to be a recreation of Rome since it was so far from the capital. It was really awesome, but we ran out of time, which sucked. So we hustled back to the bus and then back to Aix. Dinner was with Zach and Nicole at this Italian place. I had Saltimbocca and talked to Zach for two hours and realized he's awesome.

Saturday- so Saturday was ridiculous. They took us to this amazing gorge ravine place where we don something called canyoning, I'll explain in a second, but they couldn't do everyone at once so half us hiked for the morning and then we switched. I hiked first. We did one trail that was pretty cool, nothing special, then we just chilled by the river and these big rocks for a long time. Finally, after getting really burned, it was our time to go canyoning. So canyoning, they give you these riduclously uncomfortable wet suits and you float down the river through rapids, with a tour guide, and then get up and climb biug rocks and do big jumps and flips and stuff, it's awesome. Then we walked through two pitch black caves that were amazing. LONG LONG LONG BUS ride back so they decided two order pizzas for us, instead of going into the city to eat. Unfortuantely, that's probably the coolest thing the staff has done for us, that's not how not awesome this trip is. So 20 boxes of pizza come in, and that's cool, we're all starving, but then they open the boxes, and there are two pizzas in every box, and it was like ecstacy, there was so much pizza, so we stuffed our faces and that was awesome.

Sunday - everyone went to the beach at Cassis. I basically kept my shirt on the whole time because I didn't wanna burn anymore, especially after just having two moles removed. It was fun though, we had some mad good chocolate pudding, and then spent alot of time chilling not doing much. Lunch was a good crepe, and later, Shankhar, Evan, Val and I tried finding the tennis game, and finnally sat ddown to watch Federer win the 2nd set. Eventually we left, long bus ride home, we ate with pods, so teh guys went to Cafe Malta. Discussed movies with Shanks and Paul, ate Lamb, which was pretty good, and then ran home because we raced a few other groups, it was kinda awesome, except that my feet were blackened.

Monday- Major classes, Shanks lectured for about 1 hours but it was funny, then we read an article about Franco-American relatinos and had a good lesson with that. We went to Aix for lunch, had an awesome prosciutto panini, Afternoon, Diana, who was kinda sick, sent us off to churches, but the church was closed, so we chilled in an internet cafe, that's when I wrote that long ass entry from yesaterday. Went back, slept, I was exhausted, then had some random 4th of july celebrations. We were throwing the frisbee around a lot, Zach and I were trying all this trick shit, it was fun, then after dinner, when it started to rain a little we had an amazing game of ultimate, 7 on 8. So much fun.

    2:31 pm
    Bonjour tout les monde.
Wo, so I found a much better cheaper internet cafe that even has AIM, so look to hear from me a lot more than you would've. It's been a week now and things are going pretty well. Little lonely at first but its getting better. The first day was miserable, really long plane rides and bad time change and we were all really tired and miserable and i think you understand. We met all the stgaff and stuff, and introduced to people 100s of times, remembbered close to 0 names. Met Paul, however. Sat next to me on both planes, just graduated high school in Connecticut, is going to Kenyon in the fall. Really cool, almost indetical eclectic taste in music, which is awesome. I left all my music at home, so I've kinda been bumming off him for that. Sunday night, they split us up into dinner groups and we went into the town of Aix for dinner. I reallly love Aix but I'll get to that a little later. My group was my three roommates, Paul included, and 4 girls who I didn't know and don't remember now. We went with two staff, Shankhar (Shahn-Kur phoenitically) and Diana (Dee-Ahna). Shankhar's awesome. Very nice, very smart, went to Brown, lives I think in Holmdel, or near PNC bank arts center. Had a pretty good meal even though everyone was still miserable and tired.

That was Sunday. Monday, we woke up kinda early, had breakfast, (croissants and chocolate croissants every morning CROISSANT FEVER!!) We were split into our major classes. I have french history with none other than Shankhar. So we go across the street to this sick art museum, la Fondation Vaserely, and upstairs to an amazingly air conditioned room, we've had a bit of a heatwave here, and we talk about our experiences with french history and what we expect from the class, and what to do and the such. 6 people in my class, i'm the only boy. Then we go out and start getting a walking tour of Aix. Shankhar had spent all of the staff's orientation week walking around assembling the city's history. So that was fun. Lunch was these amazing paninis, I've been having a lot of those. After lunch more of the walking tour, and then we returned to the hotel, chilled and cleaned up, made dinner groups again, I was with Kristen and Diana, we went to this pizza place that was really good.

I just realized that I just described Tuesday. so here's monday. The morning activity was a big thing called fun facts, where we were given a sheet that had groups of 3 odd facts about each of the staff and we had to figure out by asking indirect questions who was who. It was kinda cool. To go along with this i'll describe all the staff.

Shankhar, very cool very smart very funny, I've spent a lot of time with him, i think he's 23, talked to him alot.
Bob- oddly enthusiastic guy from Minnesota, offputting at first but really cool, talked to him a lot too, really nice, really sporty, really fun and wierd.
Zach- at first seemed really wierd but I had him one night for a dinner group and talked to him the whole time. He's really cool, I think he's 30, we have almost identical taste in movies.
Nico- really nice, but really soft spoken even though she has so much to say. Its really wierd talking to her.
Nicole- large, to say the least, not trerribly friendly, just always there, I don't relaly like her.
Val- really nice really quiet actually french, haven't had much interaction with her
Diana- she's cool, she's my minor course teacher, Architecural history, turns out she went to the junior olympics for ping-pong and was once ranked 8th in the country, so that's pretty cool
Kristen- loud and funny, haven't had much interaction with her but she seems cool
Julie- I think she's turning 22 so she's the youngest of them. Really spunky and energetic, kinda funny, nice. She went to Princeton and actually knew Marlo, one of brother's old friends.
Biba- assistant director, she's nice, but a little wierd.
Alden- from Montclair, which is cool. She's nice, but there are a lot of programs with this problem and we blame them all on her as she's director, so I don't like her too much.

After that thing, Shankhar, Nico, and a bunch of this went to lunch at an amazing crepe place. I had veal and a mushroom sauce in a crepe, it was one of the best meals I've had yet. After lunch we were split into groups to do a scavenger hunt around Aix, whatever, it was hot, so that sucked. Dinner that night was with Shankhar, but I don't remember where to.

Wednesday - Minor day, so we spent the whole day with Diana. First we were the Vaserely classrooms doing the classic orders of columns and other basic tenets of architecture, and then after lunch, Shankhar met up with us and gave us a special guest tour of Aix, it was kinda funny just cuz a few of us had the tour the day before but whatever it was fine. During lunch, I went around with Lily and Grant. we went with her into different stores, it was funny.

Meh, I have to go, I'll have to continue this later.

    10:19 pm
    wow
So I had a near death experience today. We were driving on the highway today, or I was driving, my mom was reading newspapers or something in the passenger seat. And we're on rt. 9 i think. No traffic, but it wasn't empty. Anyway, I'm going 73 in the left lane with cruise control because my mom was flipping out about me going too fast, and i guess i started dozing off, you all know me and my narcolepsy. Anyway, all of a sudden, its loud and the car's shaking because I had drifted off the highway and we were on the grass there. So I obviously wake up rather suddenly, and my mom, who still isn't really sure how she wasn't paying attention, looks up. I think I tried steering back onto the highway, I don't know, but I lost control and go spinning across this 3-lane highway. I'm screaming, "O my god, o my god." I don't reallt remember what she was doing we fly off the right side of the highway and my mom brilliantly pulls up the emergency break and we finally come to a stop. In the end we were facing the wrong way on the grass part to the right of the right lane, after drifting to the left of the left lane and spinning/skidding across the 3 lane highway.

Its honestly one of those times that you kinda believe in God. There were so many ridiculous miracles in our accident. First, we're both alive. I'm sure most of you have been in a car going 70, or at least seen one going 70, and if we had been hit by a car as we were spinning across the road, well... it wouldn't have been good. Second, a lot of this highway was under construction, and many stretches of it had a wall or median on the left side. We woulda been a lot worse off if I had drifted into that. Third, somehow, there were no cars near us. I mean two cars pulled over to see if we were alright pretty quickly after it happened, but still. this highway was by no means of the imagination empty, and somehow, we went straight across it without being hit. Fourth, probably inches from where we went off on the right, there was a sign about speed limit or something. If that post had hit our car, again, everything would be a lot worse. Fifth, the place our car finally came to a standstill was, literally, less than a foot away from a rock escarpment that we had been flying towards.

Needlesstosay, my mom drove the west of the way to Providence, but I drove from Providence to our hotel, because it's important that I'm not like permanently turned off from driving. But while we were watching 24 in our hotel, which by the way is an awesome, but overproduced, show, I kind astarted dozing off, and woke up with a start. It was a surprisingly traumatizing image, and I just can't stop thinking of the car spinning helplessly across that highway and me just going o my god o my god o my god.

    11:59 pm
    Whatever
I'm really fucking fragile. I hate it. I hang on everyone's word, putting way too much meaning behind what they say. I'm so easily affected by what I over-interpret as other's intentions and feelings.

On a different note, I'm really bad at poker. I mean, I don't think that I'm too bad at it, but honestly, I don't think I've ever won money, more than like $2. ever. Yet I still really enjoy playing and make the same stupid calls each time. I just lose $20 every time I play, and yet I will always play. Poker's really fun. Its disturbing that I so thoroughly enjoy a game in which I always lose money.

My work ethic sucks. I have so much shit I have to do tomorrow, not counting a 2+hour Myachi practice and picking my mom up in princeton.

I really don't know what to do about bass in jazz band.

Everyone has those entries where they list everything that sucks, this was just one of those.

    Fine I'll do it
    Fine, I'll do it. Here.

If you read this, even if I don't speak to you often, you must post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad -- just so long as it happened. Then post this to your journal. See what people remember about you...

    happens every time
Wow, it's been a while. It always happens though, that when I come out to my dad's, I have nothing to do but think about shit. How amazing life would be if any of those thoughts were anywhere near productive. I always just end up thinking too much about thoughts that shouldn't be thought of in the first place. I hate it. I make myself miserable every time I come out here. That being, said, my younger brothers are ridiculous and pretty cool.

    hmm
    It's been a while.

Basically, I'm really frustrated by the world. Even things are good right now with my life, there's shit going on that's so annoying. Beyond the re-election, and all that shit, by the way everyone should go to www.fuckthesouth.com , I was reading the newspaper and watching sportscenter, and apparently, before the Monday Night Football game, ABC did this skit that included Terrel Owens and some women from the new show Desperate Housewives, dressed only in a towel, where she hits on him and drops her towel. You don't see anything, but the implied nudity and sexuality have brought on a big controversy. It pisses me off. True its unfortuante that football is sold with sex when its primetime television, especially 6:00 on the west coast, but since nothing is seen, so what? This is nation is so caught up with censoring sex and bad language and it lets so much gore and violence fly without a problem. A movie hasn't been controversial for having too much gore in a long long time, but it seems like every other movie get sin trouble for exposing too much skin or saying fuck one too many times. I'm sick of it.

I hate when this happens. And the worst part is how it's probably not anything. I just get this terrible feeling in my stomach and for all I know or care the world's about to end. I just want it to be tomorrow so I can be settled.
